Pub and restaurant leaders announce growth plans at Propel Multi Club

The Frobishers team joined multi-site pub, restaurant and foodservice operators from the likes of Burger & Lobster, Bill’s, London Union and Just Eat last week as the first of 2016’s Propel Multi Clubs took place at the Congress Centre in London.

We heard from Burger & Lobster managing director Simon King about the company’s plans to expand to 25 restaurants by the end of the year and its recent successes, including a one-week turnover of £47,000 at its Bath site.

Growth was reported in the pub sector too, with Steve Kenee, partner at investment firm Downing, revealing Antic London’s plans to grow to 50 pubs across London.

Other speakers included Adrian Blair, chief operating officer of Just Eat, Neil Griffiths, Punch Taverns’ chief strategy director, Roberto Morretti, chief operating officer of Bill’s and Henry Dimbleby and Jonathan Downey, co-founders of London Union, all of whom gave insights into some of the hottest industry topics.
